I walked along the cobble stone pathway, casting another fatal spell on mean looking Mu, and continued on. I really have to stop, I'm so tired. I spied the small village of Dali, and gladly stopped in to rest. All the children there gave me weird looks, father warned me about that.
I paid my 100 gil and hopped on the bed. Just about day until I reach Alexandria. Right on schedule. I pulled the covers up to my chin and let my mind wander. Would the guards throw me out when I got there? If they don't, how will the king and queen take the news? Do they even know about me?
I sighed. Come on, get some sleep, you'll need it, I told myself and finally let my mind drift off and succumbed to sleep.

The sun light shined through the curtain and sprawled over my bed. I sighed and got out of bed, splashing a little cold water on myself to shake the sleep off.
I grabbed my staff and walked out of inn, if I hurry, I might be able to make it to Alexandria before sun down.

Finally, Alexandria. Just as twilight set upon the beautiful kingdom.
I walked along the cobble stone pathway towards the palace gate. I tripped, no surprise, over a stone, and felt myself being pulled up to my feet.
"Master Vivi?!" A large man in rusty looking armor had lifted me up to my feet with a surprised, yet happy expression.
I pulled away and shook my head.
"N-no, I'm n-not Vivi, but I do have s-some important news a-about him, for the k-king and queen" I paused and looked up at him. The man thought for a minute, then smiled.
"I am Adelbert Steiner, Captain of the Knights of Pluto. I shall arrange a meeting with the King and Queen immeadatly! Please, follow me"
I simply followed Mr. Steiner, eventually finding myself on a dock.
"The fairy will take us across the river to the palace," He explained, just as the little boat pulled up.
We climbed onto the boat and sat, waiting for it to depart.
"Y-you knew my father, r-right?" I asked quietly.
"Why yes, Master Vivi was an excellent mage, with great powers. No one quite like him" He smiled.
"T-Then I think you should be there when I t-talk to the king and q-queen" I said, remember my father telling that a man named Steiner would be at the palace. He gave me strange look, but merely nodded at my request.
A few minutes later we pulled up onto the other side of the dock.
"This way"
Funny how the man hasn't asked my name yet. Oh well, I shrugged and followed him, entering the large palace.
"Stay right here, I'll be back right away" He bowed and ran up the steps, probably to the royal chambers.
I did as he asked, staying in the room, marveling at the surroundings. I had never been in a palace before, it was beautiful. Before I could get another thought in, I hear the easily recognizable armor of Mr. Steiner trotting down the stairs, along with a few other footsteps. I looked up to see Mr. Steiner, and the King and Queen, hand in hand, making their way down the steps.
"Vivi?!" I jumped at the sound of the Queens' voice, seeing her and the King running down the steps towards me. Obviously Mr. Steiner didn't tell them. Once again, I shook my head.
"N-no. I'm not Vivi, he's my dad."
I saw both of them smile at me.
"I am Queen Garnet of Alexandria, and this is my husband, King Zidane." She said politely and extended her hand. I nervously took it and shook.
"What's your name, little guy?" Zidane asked, in a much more casual tone.
"...Zidane."
The king looked at me in a sort of shock.
"Vivi named his son...after me?" He looked like he had a twinkle in his eye.
I cleared my throat, "Y-yeah, he always told us about you. He s-said you where his best f-friend"
"Us?"
"Yeah, I h-have a few brothers and sisters, they're o-out looking for the others"
"Looking for the others?" Asked the queen, "Why?"
"W-well" I looked at the ground, "There's s-something really important I h-hafta tell you"
I looked up at the three of them. They looked kinda worried.
"Well, what is it?" King Zidane asked softly.
"Y-you see, my dad, h-he's...he's...really sick..."
