Garland

The only thing that he remembered from his past life was the name "Garland", which he took to be his own, unaware of the implications behind the name. Garland was discovered, half starved and rather ill, upon a routine trip to the food market of Conde Petie by Black Mage Number 44. Mr. 44 took the child back to the village, and under extreme care, Garland was nursed back to health, though with a lack of any previous memories.

Generally, Garland has been ousted by the Genome society of the Black Mage Village due to his poor attitude and extreme physical differences between himself and the others. Which is just as well for Garland since he wishes to have little to do with the "common" Genomes as it is. Despite his over all bad attitude, rough language and his withdrawal from both Black Mage and Genome social interactions, he tends to have a general good will for the survival of the inhabitants of the Black Mage Village. His only friend is Mr. 44.
